The Sergeant for Solo Snare Drum

Written during the COVID19 pandemic, The Sergeant is a tribute to several inspirations and styles that i have met throughout my drumming journey.

The phrases, like a Sergeant, can be demanding and harsh but then it cools down to something simpler, kinda like how a Sergeant has a heart despite his tough front.

The Corporal for Solo Snare Drum

The Corporal is a lightened down solo as compared to The Sergeant, technically it isn’t as demanding but it helps and it leads up to being able to tackle The Sergeant.
