DRUM LESSONS
Over the last 15 years, I’ve taught both kids and adults. I run a bespoke program for my students, as not everyone learns the same way. My students have also attained Distinction results for their drum exams.
Bespoke drumming lessons are a personalized approach to learning how to play the drums. With tailored one-on-one sessions, students can learn at their own pace and focus on their desired areas of improvement.
The lessons are designed to accommodate the student's unique learning style, goals, and previous drumming experience. Bespoke drumming lessons can be taken by beginners who are just starting with drumming, or advanced musicians who want to hone their skills in a particular genre or area of drumming.
These lessons provide a more efficient way of learning as well, as the student's progress can be closely monitored, adjustments can be made in a timely manner and feedback can be given immediately. With bespoke drumming lessons, the students receive a specialized and individualized learning experience that can help them achieve their drumming goals.
They have also attained Distinction results for their drum exams. I’ve also prepared students for competitions locally and abroad, as well as for auditions into institutions and groups.
PERCUSSION LESSONS
My percussion lessons cover the entire spectrum of percussion playing, from classical to hand percussion. My students have come to me for advice on audition preparations and performance help.
Classical percussion lessons are a great way to develop a solid foundation in rhythm and musicality. Percussion instruments are essential to any orchestra, and they provide the driving force behind many musical compositions.
With classical percussion lessons, students can learn how to play the timpani, snare drum, bass drum, cymbals, and many other instruments. They can also learn how to read music notation and understand musical theory.
These lessons can help students improve their focus, coordination, and dexterity. Additionally, students can have the opportunity to perform in recitals and with ensembles, providing them with performance experience that can be applied to any musical genre.
